A tandoor is a tall, barrel-shaped clay oven that gets incredibly hot — up to 900°F. Fueled by charcoal or gas, it creates dry heat from the sides, direct fire from below, and steam inside the chamber — all at once. It’s part grill, part oven, part magic.


🫓 Part 1: How We Make Our Naan – Fresh from the Tandoor

There’s nothing quite like fresh naan straight from the tandoor — soft, pillowy inside with just the right char on the outside.


Here’s how we make it:

First, we hand-stretch each piece of dough only when you order it — no shortcuts, no pre-made batches. Then comes the magic: we slap it onto the inner wall of our blazing-hot clay oven, the tandoor, where the heat soars past 800°F.

Within moments, the naan begins to puff and bubble, its surface browning and blistering in all the right places. We carefully lift it out using long metal skewers — hot, fragrant, and ready to be brushed with ghee, garlic, or served just as it is.
